If you’re seeking sacred Black “text” in our tradition, you have to examine the way our Black ancestors lived.

Love is the center and foundation of this faith... let fall away all that might distract us from the whole-hearted practice of Love.

love is your song and you are fully loved in turn

May we view each other as partners, comrades, friends on the journey

Let us set aside hate, and devote our lives to the ways of peace and justice.  

This chalice is for the living, the changing, the becoming.

May we know ourselves as vessels of infinite possibility

We shall all be free.

You have given us a day unique from any other.

May our spirits be guided by our values.

If we believe in the promise of our faith, we must continue pushing forward.

We are divine bodies of light and darkness

We are part of the connective tissue that holds the legacy and future of our faith.

Change can be uncomfortable. Like any time we learn a new technology, it can take a little while to adjust.

Of all the things "faith" can mean, to me it means believing in us.

Go out now with hearts and hands and minds renewed.

The flame that is our promise of universal salvation can never be extinguished.

We come together in one faith.

Our common work is the creation of Beloved Community.

The work of radical inclusion; of collective liberation.

I offer my "Ouch" with hope and trust.

Can we find space for lifting our heads in wonder—that we’re still striving, still trying together

The spiritual touchstones I trust are found in community.

Sing in our hearts all the stirrings of compassion for the oppressed, for those who are scared and hurting.

When covenant / breaks, we need to come home / to trust.

Every time someone showed up for me, I learned that love is greater than skin deep.

Do we who are UUs really believe in the values of our faith enough to enact to them in bold, clear, and unequivocal ways?

Let it be said by generations to come that when the pain of our separation was revealed, we moved closer to the promised land of our beloved community.
