Giving and Generosity

UU chalice

Your gifts put our faith into action on a daily basis. Every gift helps our congregations bring people together and allows our Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) to reach out and take a stand for justice, love, and peace.

Whether making an unrestricted gift to Friends of the UUA, supporting one of our key program areas such as Side with Love, or making a provision for the UUA or your congregation in your estate plans, you are demonstrating your commitment to UU values and our ongoing efforts to grow and support our community of congregations.

Contact Us: UUA staff are available to assist you. Call toll-free at (888) 792-5885.

Looking for information about your congregation's support of the UUA or about how to raise money? Please visit the Finance and Fundraising pages under Congregational Leadership.

Unrestricted

Every dollar donated to Friends of the UUA supports congregational life, ministry and faith development, youth and young adult programs, as well as social justice efforts nationwide. Please give generously.

Make a Gift

You don’t have to be a millionaire to make a difference in the world. Bequests are for everyone and anyone.

Bequest language

It's easy to contribute stock to the UUA, your congregation or other eligible UU entity. Donating appreciated securities also offers tax advantages over cash gifts.

Donate Stock

Make a single donation to the UUA—such as appreciated stock—and have your gift distributed to your congregation and/or other UU entities such as seminaries, camps and ministerial associations.

More on Umbrella Giving

Planned giving is a wonderful way to provide for Unitarian Universalism while making sound financial plans for yourself and your family. You may designate the UUA, your congregation, and other recognized UU entities in your estate plans.
