Community without mutual commitment is no community at all, so Beyond-congregation ministries wonder what to ask of participants, what level of commitment to require, and how to engage in mutual covenanting with the wider UU community. Congregations wonder how to reach back. This workshop reinterprets congregational polity for these and other emerging religious realities.
