Michelle Alexander’s The New Jim Crow, focused attention on the ways that mass incarceration has led to a new racial caste system. Partners of the Ending the New Jim Crow social action group at First Unitarian Church, Portland, OR, will provide insights and strategies for working together to create potential legislative, reentry, and policing reforms.
