Second Sunday in June. This is a service that focuses on children and the children’s religious education (RE) program. Often, it is organized by the Director of Religious Education and RE teachers, perhaps with help from parents and the minister or worship coordinator. Children may sing, perform a skit, share their reflections on a topic. One of the intentions is to narrow the divide that sometimes exists between the community of adults who attend the main worship service and the children and teachers who are in Sunday school at that time.
