Resources for Facilitating Conversations about Sexuality

At the Fall 2016 conference of the Liberal Religious Educators Association (LREDA), UUA staff and LREDA members led workshops on how to engage effectively in a faith community conversation about a potentially uncomfortable topic such as money, death, sex, or race. Participants engaged in self-awareness exercises to help ground their approaches to hard or uncomfortable conversations that can occur. The resources below informed the workshops on Sexuality and may be useful to religious educators who wish to strengthen their ability and increase their comfort in talking about sexuality with congregational leaders and members, including adults, children, and youth.
