Who does the Youth Board serve?

The PSWD Youth Board serves the PWR Youth Ministry Vision, and more specifically, the youth community in the Pacific Southwest. The PSWD Youth Board represents Unitarian Universalist youth from California, Arizona, and Nevada. That includes youth (high school aged youth, approximately ages 14-18), their youth group advisors / sponsors (adults over 25 engaged in youth ministry), DREs, and ministers. Basically, anyone and everyone involved in youth ministry in the Pacific Southwest.

Our purpose is…

To support and empower youth and adults working with youth in their spiritual growth; to encourage communication and cooperation between local, district, and regional youth groups and provide and manifest a greater understanding of Unitarian Universalism.

How do I join the Youth Board?

The Youth Board is open to youth in grades 9-12 and adults ages 25+ who are involved in PSWD youth ministry.

Youth must be associated with a UUA congregation or be a part of the greater youth community. If you have any questions about any of this, please email pswdyruu@gmail.com.

Elections are held in July of each year.
