What Is Giving Tuesday?

Celebrated on the Tuesday following both Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday kicks off the holiday season, when charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world come together in common purpose: to celebrate their cause and to give.

UUs around the country are invited to celebrate and support their faith on this day, the Tuesday following Thanksgiving each year. Every Giving Tuesday donation helps our congregations bring people together and allows our UUA to reach out and take a stand for justice, love, and peace.
