Portland International Airport, often referred to by its airport code PDX, is located within Portland’s city limits just south of the Columbia River in Multnomah County, 12 miles by highway northeast of downtown Portland. In 2015, 2016, and 2019, The airport was ranked number 1 by J.D. Power and Associates for the US “Large passenger Airports” and overall highest among passenger satisfaction.
Portland Airport is a hub for Alaska Airlines. It also serves various other airlines including American, Delta, JetBlue, Frontier, Southwest, and United.

App-Based Ride Shares
User Uber, Lyft, or Wingz apps to request your ride. Follow signs to baggage claim, make sure you are on the lower level. Once you have your luggage in hand and are ready to go, request a ride and head directly to Island 2 outside of baggage claim.

Rental Cars
On-Airport Rental Car pickup and dropoff at PDX is located on level 1 of the short-term parking garage. For drop-off, follow signs on the lower roadway for Rental Cars. For pickup, proceed past baggage claim to the tunnel and take the first elevator bank to level 1. Get Directions

Taxis
Taxis at PDX can be found on the lower roadway, outside of baggage claim. Proceed to the 3rd island, closest to the parking garage.
TriMet MAX Light Rail
The Trimet Max/Light Rail can be found on the main level, at the south end of the ticket lobby beyond the Starbucks. The Red Line services PDX, and trains depart every 15 minutes.
