The 2022 UUA General Assembly (GA) Housing Reservation System  offers attendees premium amenities, discounted rates, and the best networking opportunities. Booking in the hotel block assists the UUA in effectively controlling meeting space, attrition, and penalty fees; all of which directly benefit you and the future of General Assembly. Additionally, the UUA is able to negotiate on behalf of our block of attendees for sustainability and accessibilities requirements. In 2022 we anticipate fewer in-person attendees and will have ample housing options available in our hotel and dormitory blocks.

Attendees who book within the UUA housing block will be in the expert hands of Connections Housing, the only official 2022 UUA General Assembly Housing Bureau. The Connections Housing Team is dedicated exclusively to managing UUA housing blocks and supporting attendees with their housing needs. Your dedicated Connections Housing contact, Robbin Cassell, may be reached via email at, or via the UUA Housing Call Center at 702-476-6976, Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm ET. Robbin will be on-site in Portland OR, and able to assist attendees with housing questions they may have during General Assembly.

Important Dates

  • March 21: Dormitory accommodations at Portland State University will be available for reservation on the GA Housing Reservation System.

  • May 23: Cut Off date for making reservations on the GA Housing Reservation System. You can still modify or cancel an existing reservation on the housing website. Room cancellations after this date are subject to a non-refundable $50 cancellation fee for each reservation. This is in addition to any hotel policies.

  • June 7: Cut Off date for Portland State University (PSU) dorm reservation cancellations. Dorm reservations can be made via the PSU Housing Reservation system.

  • June 17: Shut Down date for the GA Housing Reservation System. Any changes or cancellations to existing reservations after this date must be made through the hotels directly.

The following Portland hotel properties have been confirmed in the UUA housing block. These downtown properties are within 1 block of the MAX light rail system. Complimentary MAX passes will be given (2 per room) to attendees staying in the UUA reserved block hotels. All MAX trains and stations are wheelchair accessible.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

  • If you need to make any changes or cancel your reservation, please visit the GA Housing Reservation System and enter your hotel confirmation number.
  • Cancellations made after Monday, May 23 will be charged or forfeit a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 72 hours prior to the day of arrival will be charged or forfeit one night's room and tax. Cancellations made for the DoubleTree Hotel must be received at least 21 days prior to arrival to avoid a one night's room and tax penalty per reservation.
  • Credit cards will only be charged if canceled within the penalty period. A charge of one night's room and tax will be applied to non-used reservations that have not been canceled and do not arrive (no-show). Early departures are subject to penalty fees set by the hotel.

Dormitory Housing

Dormitory reservations can be made at Portland State University (PSU) by visiting the PSU Housing Reservation system. PSU Dorm housing is located in Broadway Residence Hall and Ondine Residence Hall. Both Broadway and Ondine Hall are accessible by MAX light rail. Free MAX light rail passes will be available at the Travel Portland desk at the Oregon Convention Center.

Please note: All non-parental adult sponsors (“sponsors”) of youth who are staying in the Portland State University dorms MUST have a background check within the last 12 months; the UUA must ensure this PSU policy.   • Dorm rooms are offered as a 4-night or 5-night package (Wednesday, June 22 - Sunday, June 26).
    Individual night stays are not available.
  • Full payment is required at the time of reservation.

Check-In + Check-Out Procedures:

  • Check-in time is 3pm. The PSU check-in office will be open 3pm - 5pm.
  • Guests who wish to check in after 5pm may do so by coming to Broadway Hall (1977 SW 6th Ave Portland, OR 97214) Suite 210.There is an intercom on the exterior of the front door that they can use to check in between 5pm-9pm.

  • After 9pm, PSU staff must be notified in advance by the guest of their anticipated arrival time. You can arrange this with PSU staff by e-mailing It is preferable that these guests have their vaccination status verified via the Kokomo 24/7 app prior to arrival.

  • Checkout time is 10am. On Sunday June 26, check-out time is 5pm to accommodate travelers leaving their luggage on-campus during the final General Session.

Dorm Building Options:

  • Broadway Residence Hall - $77/night (Google Map) : Units include a private bathroom and kitchenette with a sink, 2-burner stovetop, and mini-fridge.
  • Ondine Building - $65/night (Google Map) : Units include a private bathroom and no kitchenette. Suite styles where two units are connected via a shared bathroom may also be available upon request. Please email to ask for availability prior to booking.

Dorm Rooms Amenities:

  • Two extra-long twin beds per room

  • Bed linens, towels, and washcloths

  • Private bathrooms

  • Wi-Fi

  • Fans, hangers, and lamps

  • Access to recreation room and fitness center

  • Dining hall-style dining at Victor’s Dining Hall (see below).

Typically Not Included:

  • Cooking supplies, Hairdryer, alarm clock, telephone, tissue, toiletries.

  • Housekeeping. (Though a linen exchange program is available weekly for clean linens)

  • Air conditioning. (Cooling centers will be available in the case of extreme heat)

PSU On-Campus Dining

Portland State University offers on-campus dining in in Victor's Dining Hall, located in the lobby of Ondine Hall. Victor's is all-you-care-to-eat dining hall, with an ever-changing menu that includes vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options during all meal periods. The dining hall features a salad bar, sandwich making, grilled options, and a hot homemade meal. Victor’s Dining Hall passes are available for the following prices per meal:

Breakfast: $9.50 // Lunch: $10.10 // Dinner: $12.50

  • Meal costs are separate from the cost of lodging.

  • Monday - Friday:
    • Breakfast 7:00am - 9:00am, Lunch 11:00am - 1:00pm, Dinner 5:00pm - 7:00pm

  • Dining passes will be available for purchase via the PSU Dormitory Reservation System, which will be available to dormitory guests only starting mid-March 2022.
  • View the menu here . Meals may also be carried out to-go style.
  • Dining choices include vegetarian and vegan options, as well as a “major eight” station with options omitting the eight major food allergens. Guests with specific food allergies are encouraged to reach out ahead of their stay to discuss their dietary needs. There are no peanuts or peanut products in any meals at Victor’s, though there are closed containers of peanuts available.

PSU Dormitory Policies

  • All dormitory guests are required to follow the rules and policies outlined in the PSU Summer Housing and Conferences 2022 Handbook.

  • Guests are required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and a valid government-issued ID (or student ID, for minors) at the time of check-in.

  • All dormitory guests 17 years of age or younger must be accompanied by an adult sponsor (one adult can sponsor up to three youth as per UUA policy). All non-parental adult sponsors (“sponsors”) of youth MUST have a background check within the last 12 months; the UUA must ensure this PSU policy. Cancellation Policy
  • Payment is required in full at the time of your dormitory reservation. Cancellations will be permitted up until June 7 (14-days prior to the event). Guests who cancel by this time can receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued after June 7.
  • The PSU Housing Reservation system will close on June 7. For any changes to your reservation after this time, please e-mail the Summer Housing + Conferences team at or call 503-725-4336.

Home Hospitality

The Portland Local Area Task Force will provide resources for GA attendees interested home hospitality or AirBNB-style accommodations. Availability is based on local congregational support. Available accommodations may vary based on local health and safety guidelines due to COVID-19 and state mandates. Transportation and meals are typically not provided.
