I just tripped over this one, and thought I'd provide this information for anyone else who encounters the problem: I know that the Events plugin isn't yours -- right? I had just installed and activated it, and not done any additional setup. When I viewed the events, someone pointed out that it wasn't displaying in US standard format: mm/dd/yyyy So, I looked at the Events settings, and, sure enough, they have a separate setting for date and time formats. I kind of expected that they would, by default, use the date and time settings for the site, but apparently not. It was easy to fix, once I'd tracked it down. Just FYI...
