Webinar: Make Room for All

Make Room for All

Accessibility and Inclusion Issues in Congregational Life

Opening our doors to people of all abilities is the less talked about test of inclusion in our congregations. This webinar discusses “disability etiquette” and explores the many ways in which our congregations can be more accessible and more welcoming to people with a variety of disabilities.

Mark Bernstein is an Adjunct Staff Member of the Central East Region of the UUA and a member of the Board of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Membership Professionals (UUAMP). He also serves on the steering committee of the Accessibility and Inclusion Ministry (AIM), a joint program of the UUA and EqUUal Access working to enable the full engagement of people with disabilities and their families in our congregations. Mark’s home congregation is the UU Church of Delaware County in Media, PA where he has been a member for over 25 years.
