Sunday morning worship marking the 450th anniversary of the Edict of Torda - sermon linking this momentous event to our polity and theological diversity

This was our normal Sunday service.

Linking the Edict of Torda to the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom and proclaiming that though conservative Christians and others in the US can discriminate within their religious institutions, that freedom does not apply to public businesses and employee benefits.

We will explore the intersections of Martin Luther King Jr and Torda 450 -- emphasizing religious imperatives through the lenses of the Edict of Torda and the Letter from Birmingham Jail.

We are excited to host the Rev. Lidia-Emese Bodor as our preacher on Sunday, January 14th as we celebrate the 450th anniversary of the Edict of Torda with a special worship service.
