Accessible Religious Education (RE) areas and curriculum open the door for adults with disabilities to participate or volunteer, parents with disabilities to visit their children's RE classes, and children with disabilities to fully participate.

- Adapt activities so that everyone can participate
- Use accessible meeting spaces - both indoor and outdoor, including playgrounds for children.
- Modify project materials to be usable by all.
- Look in your congregation or larger community for occupational therapists or special education teachers who can give advice.
- Provide Large-print materials or audio recordings.
- Qualified sign-language interpreters have been used successfully in RE classes.
