Your Southern Region is proud to offer the Essentials Leadership Experience (Essentials LE), an online leadership experience focusing on Congregational Foundations, System Theory, and Faith Development for congregational leaders working or volunteering in governance, programming, and shared ministry. The Essentials LE is the second track of our three-track Leadership Experience.

Completion of the Primer Leadership Experience is a required prerequisite to participate in the Essentials LE. We're offering two processing sessions of the Primer LE this program year, on October 25 and February 7. Completion of the Primer LE in the 2022-23 program year will also meet this requirement. In order to get the most out of this program, we encourage congregations to register a team of two or more participants for the Essentials LE series.

January 23, 2024 - Section One Course Material Opens
February 24, 2024 - Essentials LE Virtual Processing Session 1
February 26, 2024 - Section Two Course Material Opens
March 23, 2024 - Essentials LE Virtual Processing Session 2
March 25, 2024 - Section Three Course Material Opens
April 20, 2024 - Essentials LE Virtual Processing Session 3
All Saturday virtual processing sessions for this series will run from 9:00 AM Central/10:00 AM Eastern to 11:00 AM Central/noon Eastern (2 hours).

Registration fee: The cost is $90 per person for the series. We encourage congregations to financially support the participation of their current leaders, emerging leaders, and staff who wish to register for this event.
Spaces are limited for this training and the deadline to register is February 10th.
