Elaine McArdle
Elaine McArdle (she/her) is UU Worldsenior editor. An award-winning journalist and book author, she has written for the Boston Globe, Boston Globe Magazine, The Lancet, Harvard Law Bulletin, Northeastern Law Magazine, and many others. She is the co-author of The Neuroscientist Who Lost Her Mind (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, 2018), which was featured on the BBC, NPR, Der Spiegel, and the Washington Post, and was a Publishers Weekly Top Ten Memoir Pick for Spring 2018. She is also co-author of The Migraine Brain: Your Breakthrough Guide to Fewer Headaches, Better Health(Free Press, 2008), a finalist for the 2008 Books for a Better Life Award sponsored by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Elaine lives in Saratoga Springs, New York, where she is on the board of Sustainable Saratoga, and she attends the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Saratoga Springs.
