Rev. AJ (he/him) is a lifelong UU who grew up at the UU Congregation of Fairfax, Virginia. His call to ministry developed as he participated in and led youth conferences, campus ministry, young adult conferences, and attended General Assemblies. His ministerial calling is to create and sustain liberal religious communities while deepening what it means to practice religious pluralism.

He served congregations in Boulder, CO and Auburn, CA before moving to Rochester, NY to serve as an Assistant Minister at the First Unitarian Church of Rochester.

Rev. AJ lives in Rochester with his wife Ada (also a lifelong UU), daughter Hazel, and their sweet little dog, Mina.
