The Rev. James Ishmael Ford is minister emeritus of First Unitarian Church of Providence, Rhode Island, and is a consulting minister with First Unitarian Church of Los Angeles. James is also the guiding teacher for the Empty Moon Zen sangha. His most recent book is An Introduction to Zen Koans: Learning the Language of Dragons.
