Connect and Collaborate!
As the 2025-2026 congregational year begins, invite the leaders of neighboring and nearby congregations to join your congregation’s leaders for a joint retreat. This year, we are inviting all Leaders from across your congregation — not just the Minister and governing Board.
Participating teams will…
- explore the needs of congregations today.
- connect and collaborate with leaders across congregations.
- practice the UUA’s Meet the Moment process.
- go deeper on specific congregational topics chosen by attendees.
- meet leaders in similar roles at other congregations and explore ways to magnify your ministries together.
- Ministers, Staff, Boards, and all other Leaders are invited!
Want to Hold an Event?
We have held JLRs in-person and online this year. We hope to schedule more “near & dear” events with congregations through spring 2026, and continue to work on events already scheduled. A host congregation will be in touch if one is in your area. Please email your primary contact if you are interested in hosting.

Cost
Registration is available on a sliding scale. Those who are able to pay at the highest level are making a donation to help those in financial need for this event. Please remember that for a sliding scale to work, we need the same number of people with means to generously contribute to balance the needs of others in the community. The sliding scale for in-person attendance is available at three tiers, no questions asked:
- $60-$50-$40 per person for in-person with lunch included.
- $40-$30-$20 per person for in-person without lunch.
- $25-$20-$15 per person for online.
All in-person events will include light snacks and coffee/tea/water.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
All cancellation requests for any Congregational Life event with a fee must be submitted in writing using this refund request form.
Refunds
- Refund requests made before the event registration deadline will be eligible for a refund, minus a $5 administrative fee.
- Refund requests made after the registration deadline but before the event date will be eligible for a 50% refund.
- Refund requests made within one week of the event due to illness or emergencies will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
- Refunds will not be provided after the event for no-shows. Note, if you registered for an event only to receive the event recording and resources you will still receive all these resources.
- There is no penalty for finding someone to replace you if you cannot attend. Please inform the program staff of the replacement attendee’s details so that we can update the roster accordingly.
