Did you know that Chalice Lighters is not the only way for you to help congregations in the MidAmerica region? The UUA’s crowdfunding platform, Faithify, is here to help Unitarian Universalist congregations, organizations, and individuals around the world accomplish their fundraising goals. Right now, there are two MidAmerica congregations seeking to raise funds: the All Souls Community Church of West Michigan in Grand Rapids, and the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Rock Valley in Rockton, Illinois.

All Souls is building back their religious education program and needs help for more director of religious education staff hours, while Rockton needs to replace old exhaust fans on its building to allow it to reach out to other groups in the community to safely share its meeting space.

The MidAmerica Chalice Lighter program will contribute to each an additional 20% of the amount raised by these campaigns if they meet their goals.

And remember, the Fall 2022 Chalice Lighter Call is currently underway. We are raising money to help the Unitarian Universalist Church of Lexington, Kentucky.
