UUA President Issues Statement on Proposed Military Strikes in Syria
In response to President Obama's recent request for Congressional approval for U.S. military intervention against the Assad regime in Syria, UUA President Rev. Peter Morales joins with all people of conscience in condemning the use of these chemical weapons and grieves for the appalling loss of innocent lives. He urges the Obama administration to explore and then exhaust all peaceful diplomatic efforts to bring an end to the ongoing violence in Syria.
