Reflections on a Seven Day Fast in Solidarity with Salvador Zamora and Martin Altamirano
Unitarian Universalist minister, Rev. Jeff Jones, reflects on his decision to join two Cobb County, Georgia men, Salvador Zamora and Martin Altamirano, in protesting their state's implementation of anti-immigrant legislation by fasting for seven days. Rev. Jones sees immigration becoming the moral question of the day and finds hope and strength in recent successes in the GLBT rights movement to continue fighting for meaningful immigration reform.
