The Central East Region has scholarship funds available for youth who are attending UUA/CER events in the summer of 2023. Since we aren’t offering our leadership schools, we want to offer this money to help youth attend any of these events. Our scholarship money can be used for registration, travel, and also be used to cover adult chaperones to GA.
You may receive up to $200 to help fund your ability to attend youth events. Do note that most events have scholarship funds specific to that event and you should apply for those as well.

CER Summer Institute is a week long UU mulitgenerational family camp in western Pennsylvania July 9-15. Join us at PennWest in California, PA! Learn more at the CERSI webpage. Note that the deadline for scholarships from the CERSI scholarship fund is May 31, 2023.
Our national Lifespan Faith Engagement office is offering the following programs (dates and locations being finalized).
- Thrive is a week-long community-building retreat where UU youth of color can reflect, play and worship together/
- Sowing Seeds is a week-long skill-building camp where UU youth learn practical skills to make change in their community and get rooted in UU values.
- Meaning Makers A dual track (youth & emerging adult) faith formation program focused on building intentional community & discerning how to live our UU values in the world. A five-day program, hosted in the New England region.
