Distinguished Service Award Committee
The Award for Distinguished Service to the Cause of Unitarian Universalism is one of the most prestigious awards given by the Unitarian Universalist Association. The Award Committee selects the recipient(s) each year from a list of nominations provided by Unitarian Universalists everywhere.
Recipients of this award have strengthened the institutions of our Unitarian Universalist denomination, clarified our message in extraordinary ways, and exemplified what Unitarian Universalism stands for.
Recent recipients have included Marjore Bowens-Wheatley, Rev. Dr. Kenneth Torquil MacLean, tRev. Mel Hoover, Rev. Clark Olsen, Rev. Dr. Laurel E. Hallman, Rev. Danielle Assunta Di Bona, and Rev. Dr. Charles E. Gaines, Rev. Dr. Mark Morrison-Reed, Elandria Williams, Rev. Mr. Barb Greve, and Rev. Dr. William G. Sinkford.
