Cancellation Policy for MidAmerica Sponsored Events

Each event will have its own policy listed on the Event Registration page.

Events with Hotel Deadlines or Expensive Budget

For Regional Assembly or any other event which requires us to meet specific hotel-related deadlines and to cover costs for an expensive budget

Cancellation Policy

  • For cancellations requested prior to 30 days before the event, the registration fee will be returned less a $25.00 handling fee.
  • Cancellations requested between 15 to 30 days before the event will receive a 50% refund of paid registration fees.
  • No refunds for cancellations after a date that’s 14 or fewer days before the event.

Region-Sponsored Events with a Registration Fee of $40 or More

Cancellation Policy

  • For cancellations requested between 15 to 30 days [or earlier] before the event, 50% of paid registration fees will be refunded.
  • For cancellations requested between 8 to 14 days before the event, a refund of 25% of paid registration fees will be given.
  • No refunds will be given for cancellations requested less than 8 days before the event.

Region-Sponsored Events with a Registration Fee Less Than $40 

Cancellation Policy

  • For cancellations requested at least 8 days before the event, a refund of 50% will be given.
  • No refunds will be given for cancellations requested less than 8 days before the event.
