General Assembly Satellite Site at First Unitarian Church of Los Angeles

An Invitation from First Unitarian Church in Los Angeles, CA

First Unitarian Church of Los Angeles is honored to serve as a GA 2026 Satellite Site. Founded by abolitionist and suffragist Caroline Severance, our church brings nearly 150 years of history rooted in justice, courage, and community. Participants can expect a welcoming and thoughtfully facilitated gathering space for shared livestream viewing, conversation, and connection. Coffee and tea will be available throughout the weekend. Located in the heart of Koreatown, we are surrounded by a vibrant neighborhood filled with diverse local dining options within walking distance. We look forward to grounding the General Assembly experience in community and inviting participants to join us for our own Sunday worship service following Sunday’s livestream.

What’s Included Onsite

Each day will begin with a local welcome before we join the General Assembly livestream together in our main gathering space. Participants will watch GA programming in community and have opportunities for facilitated conversation using materials provided by the UUA. Our intention is to create a warm, grounded space for connection, reflection, and shared experience. On Sunday morning, participants are warmly invited to remain for First Unitarian Church of Los Angeles’ own worship service following the GA livestream.

Coffee and tea will be available throughout the gathering times. We are located in the heart of Los Angeles’ Koreatown, surrounded by a wide range of restaurants and food vendors within a short distance, making it easy for participants to explore local dining options between sessions.

Parking and Transportation

Limited underground parking is available in a neighboring garage with elevator access to street level. Street parking may also be available in the surrounding area. We are a short distance from multiple bus routes and are three blocks from the Wilshire/Vermont Metro station.
