Los Angeles, CA
An Invitation from First Unitarian Church in Los Angeles, CA
First Unitarian is proud of its history as the spiritual center of Los Angeles’s social justice activists and progressives since its founding in 1877. Our community is multilingual and multicultural, full of engaged, caring, and compassionate people. You are welcome no matter where you are from, who you love, or what higher power your believe in.
About the Space
Our largest space, Fritchman Auditorium, seats up to 700 people. Channing Hall can fit up to 250 people. We also have a 2000-square-foot gymnasium, a courtyard with fountain, and multiple meeting rooms.
What’s Included Onsite
We will gather together to listen to and share songs of faith, community and resistance, will collectively engage in livestream viewing, and will share in facilitated conversations and meals to help us integrate our virtual experience in a community setting.
Parking and Transportation
Our space is a short distance from the Wilshire/Vermont Metro Station, which is itself a short subway ride from Union Station. We have parking available and there are commercial parking lots nearby.
The church has limited parking in a garage underground. The entrance is to the left of the church when facing it (east of the building). Look out for the sign that says “Church Parking” and a ramp leading down into the garage.
Accessibility
The First Unitarian Church of Los Angeles features wheelchair-accessible entrances, parking, and restrooms to accommodate visitors with mobility needs.
