Incidents of vandalism appear to be on the rise, especially in an increasingly polarized world. While often "only" nuisance crimes, these can also undermine a congregation's feeling of safety and security in the buildings. These are some resources we find useful in thinking about preventing vandalism in Congregations.

As well, vandalism is always an opportunity to reach out to others in your community who might also be experiencing this kind of behavior. Are there other religious communities that can support you, or that you can support, when this kind of behavior happens? It provides us the chance to think of who are our neighbors, and how we can reach out to create partnerships that support and strengthen us all.
