Mandated Reporting of Abuse
Staff volunteers and lay leaders need to be informed about mandated reporting requirements in your state. These laws change frequently and should be researched at least annually. Beyond legal mandates, many of our religious professionals feel a moral mandate to report suspected abuse of children and vulnerable adults to authorities.
