Intersectional Anti-Racism, Anti-Oppression, and Multiculturalism Transformation in UU Organizations Spring 2025 Wave Cohorts

Led by Rev. Ranwa Hammamy and Rev. Sarah Gibb Millspaugh, this cohort met through the Spring of 2025, and for three days at General Assembly 2025

Description: After five years of engagement with the Widening the Circle of Concern, we are at a critical time in the history of faith communities living out commitments to anti-racism/anti-oppression/multicultural (AR/AO/MC) transformation. Additionally, the political environment and backlash against diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), police reforms, trans inclusion, and civil/human rights surrounds us. How do we as UUs “Meet the Moment” with our deepest spiritual calling and our most cherished values, both within and beyond our walls?
