Problem with the UUA Services plugin in a staging environment
I have set up a staging environment in order to test updates, new plugins, make major configuration changes, et cetera, to make sure I’m happy and that I haven’t broken anything before I implement them on the production website. But in so doing, I have a problem with the UUA Services plugin. Basically, the links for “First Time Visitor?”, “Upcoming Services” and “Service Archive” are hard coded URLs setup in the Services widget. Of course, I can change the hard coded URL on the staging side to point to their appropriate host on the staging side, but that also means that a part of the website cannot be transparently copied between staging and production.
The widget configuration page will not allow me to specify a relative URL (i.e., a URL without the http://hostname portion as one does with an href). So, what is the work around?

Hi Rob,
Just to confirm, you're having trouble changing the link URLs in the UUA Featured Upcoming Service widget? Specifically, setting them as a relative path instead of an absolute URL?

Are you using the latest version of the UUA Services plugin?
Are you copy/pasting or typing the URL in the input fields?
Have you tried using a different browser? Maybe your web browser has some extension that is auto filling the input with an absolute URL?

The widget allows me to set each link to any URL, relative or absolute.
