Google Cloud Platform billing accounts will be needed for map use
According to: https://mapsplatform.googleblog.com/2018/05/introducing-google-maps-platform.html beginning on June 11th, 2018, everyone using this theme would need to sign up for a Google Cloud Platform billing account in order to use the map feature of the theme, in addition to creating the API key mentioned in the documentation ( http://uuatheme.org/configuring/configuring-the-map/ ).
That seems inconvenient. Does anyone have any thoughts about an alternative?

You can easily set up or host on Google cloud on a managed platform, Its an easy add task or maps by adding API through a managed platform. I am using WordPress on Google cloud and using the maps API.
I'm pretty sure that we changed the code so it doesn't require the API key.
