Description of Activity
With relevant congregational leaders (often the personnel committee, governing board, and parish minister or head of staff), review the fair compensation guidelines. If you are a fair compensation congregation, make plans to publicize this status and explain to the congregation the ethical basis upon which fair compensation rests. If you are not a fair compensation congregation, seek help from a regional Compensation Consultant and make an action plan to become one. Explain your action plan and the ethical basis upon which it rests to your congregation, seeking broad support.
