Ministerial Residency
The Ministerial Residency Program
Ministerial residencies are opportunities for a person in Candidate status to engage in a highly supported congregational ministry experience. These residencies are one-year in length and are non-renewable. The approved Candidates will obtain a supervisor, meet with Regional Staff, and interview with potential congregation matches. Residencies occur at congregations approved by a UUA Regional Lead. Residents will have regular contact with regional staff.
Candidates interested in being a Ministerial Resident must first consult with and get permission from the Ministerial Credentialing Director (mcodirector@uua.org).
Each of the three required roles in the Ministerial Residency Program has specific qualifications, expectations, and application requirements. Select a role to learn more about the qualifications, expectations and application process for each position.
