New UU Communities Fund Making New Visions for Spiritual Community a Reality

Building a new community is an act of faith. In that building, we create space for spiritual deepening to become real, allowing people to meet themselves more fully and recognize the sacred at work within and between us.

The New UU Communities Fund offers an avenue for designing, building, and maintaining innovation in Unitarian Universalism and space to imagine what it means to form church and spiritual community in today’s world. The New UU Communities Fund prioritizes programming that centers those who have been historically marginalized.

Led by experienced spiritual innovators The Reverend Aisha Ansano and The Reverend JeKaren Bell, the New UU Communities Fund supports both new spiritual communities and the leaders who develop and guide these communities.

Supporting Innovation

The New UU Communities Fund provides funding in support of several programs. Each of the programs funded offers support to spiritually innovative new and existing communities through technical expertise, training, education, and financial support.
