The fellowship is 4 years into engaging with Sociocracy in their congregation, after several previous years of a richly participatory and emergent “Community Conversations” process that has had transformative effects on congregational life and leadership.

This new UU congregation (formed after a values rift within their previous church) wanted to be intentional about fostering an inclusive culture. They have been using Dynamic Governance (a type of Sociocracy) to give them a way to be fair, transparent and consensual in their decision making.
