Congregational leaders, are you intrigued by the possibility of sharing an administrative employee, whether a generalist or a specialist (e.g., bookkeeper, communications manager)? Administrators, might serving two or more UU faith communities be a good choice for you? We’ll help you get started.

For Congregational Leaders

Develop relationships with leaders of other congregations. Talk to your counterparts. Collegial connections among ministers can be especially helpful.

For Administrators

Are you an experienced administrator who is working less than full-time, interested in sharing your skills with other congregations?

Consider

  • Do you see yourself as a generalist, covering a variety of administrative areas? Or would you want promote yourself as a specialist (e.g., bookkeeper, communications manager)? What about helping out a congregation by providing short-term training or consulting?
  • How much time are you wishing or willing to work? Do you imagine yourself working onsite, largely from home, or fully remotely?
