How do I remove the yellow box?
I removed the service widget. The services were eliminated, but the yellow box remains. I looked at it with the following browsers: Foxfire, Opera, Chrome, and Explorer. The only one that removed the box was Explorer. As an FYI, when the Service was operation, Explorer had the services on the second line; whereas, all the others had services located on the right side.

'.home-widget-2' is where the yellow is applied so you'd need to change that in your custom css or child theme.

It seems to me that if you remove everything within Home2 regarding the service widget that everything including the background color (yellow, in this case) would also be removed. All the words were removed, but the background remained. It seems to me that one would not need to modify the custom css.
Please explain more fully. Perhaps my question was unclear.

The yellow has nothing to do with the services widget, it's just the background for that widget section. Feel free to override it with custom CSS.
