Latest Posts Widget Module not working

Hi. I added a page to my website for online RE resources which just has a "Latest Posts" module on it. I have an RE resources category defined so I can show weekly posts of RE resources. I set it up about mid March and it worked fine.

I just went in to update the module to limit the number of posts that are displayed, and there is an error on the page where the module should be that says "This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed." I can't edit it or anything.

The front end of the page is working fine, continuing to display the posts.

I've cleared both the browser and back end caches. I updated to the newest UUA theme. I've tried creating a new test page with just a "Latest Posts" module on it and get the same problem. It's like the "Latest Posts" module has ceased to work (although, having put it on the page when it was working, the module actually works, but I can no longer modify it or add it to a page from the admin panel).

Please help!!

Hi! Yes. I did find the problem!

With WordPress 5.4, if you have the media settings set to 0 for all media sizes, then the block editor will crash if you have the Latest Posts widget loaded onto a page. The JavaScript fails trying to get the width of media images and declares something about not being able to view in the widget in the post. It appears to be a bug in the block editor not handling the valid condition where media sizes are set to 0.
