Carousel Banner (Showing Title) Not Displaying
Hello...
The red strip near the bottom of each carousel image that displayed the title of the slide no longer shows. Button links show (if there is one for a particular slide) but no stripe and title.
Any ideas?
I have updated to the latest version of the theme, but that did not fix the problem. Below is the text of our child...which doesn't seem to have anything that could cause the problem.
Thanks.

Can you supply a link to the page in question?
Never mind, I found it: http://ucwc.org/
There are no captions being generated by the script/plugin. It isn't that they are there, but not visible - they aren't there. Deeper troubleshooting will be needed. I'd check the server error logs to see if anything shows up there. You could also turn on the WordPress debugging mode to see if any error message are generated - https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress
The Developer mode "Inspect" in the Chrome browser allows you to see all of the style sheet parameters for any given element on the screen.

Also try temporarily turning off the All-in-one Event Calendar - I stopped using it many years ago mainly because of conflicts with other plugins - don't know if it plays nicer lately, or not.

I'm having the same issue with my congregation's website. We don't have the All-in-one Event Calendar installed.

What version of the CPT Bootstrap Carousel plugin are you using?

Version 1.10

Go to Carousel › Settings and make sure "Show Slide Titles?" is set to "Show." And even if it already is– scroll down and click the "Save Changes" button. That should fix it.
CPT Bootstrap Carousel made a change in version 1.10 which affects the slides title appearance:
Separated settings option for Show Caption / Titles? into two, one for each.
Otherwise, try downgrading to version 1.9.1
