Multi-site and Flywheel
We are interested in having hosted a development site and a production site. Flywheel was recommended on this forum as a reliable web hosting provider. But they only allow 1 installation. As an option, one can get a single installation, but with the WordPress multi-site option. Does anybody know if this theme has been tested and known to work with Multi-site WordPress? The Flywheel site also supports free staging sites. Maybe that is what we need but I don't understand how staging sites work with WordPress. Does anybody know how that works? Could we maintain an ongoing staging site for development, and migrate updates to production when we need to? Thanks in advance for anything you can share on these questions. Greg

Most people on Flywheel would do exactly as you suggest - use staging as development. My norm is local > staging > live.
I have it running on a multi-site install, but I haven't done much testing on it so there's a little buyer beware in there. It also wouldn't help your development situation much unless you installed multiple versions of the themes (since themes are edited at the network level in Multisite - ie edits you make on your dev would also be applied to your live, which kind of negates the purpose).
