A Blessing for Those Impacted by Scams

This week, our beloved community brushed up against the shadows of this world.

Against individuals who wished to cause harm and chaos in the lives of others without reason or cause.

Seeing this kind of cruelty come into our lives is a stark reminder of just how fragile our safety and well-being can be.

We ask that all that is good and all that is rooted in love surround us and protect us from further attacks. And that no one else be impacted by these malicious efforts.

And we also pause to remember that these scammers are human beings, eternal souls, that they and we are not separate.

May they come to understand that tricking or manipulating us is violence against themselves.

Let us put our hands on our hearts in this moment and breathe in healing and breathe out compassion. For whatever has caused them to be on this life path may be awakened to the truth of our interconnectedness, and that they will turn from their ways.

May we be safe, and we be loved, and may all enter into the dawn of the new day with a renewed sense of purpose in the value of one another’s lives. Dissolving the illusion of our separation. Enlivening the truth that our well-being is interwoven with each other.
