Woven Faith Curriculum
At the UUA, we’ve witnessed the steady, growing call for an updated UU faith development curricular series—and we’ve responded to the call! We created Woven Faith to both honor our past and incorporate our present and future expressions of faith. Woven Faith also integrates our most current associational learning around anti-oppression practices, supporting the cultivation of both internal and interpersonal social-emotional skills essential for sustainable justice work.

The Congregation Is the Curriculum
This theme-based, whole church series also supports congregational shared ministry by equipping lay leaders and religious professionals alike to weave together a shared message. An organizing principle of Woven Faith is that the congregation is the curriculum; that is, that the whole environment—accessibility, worship, fellowship, RE classes, leadership development, caring ministries, justice work—all inform the Unitarian Universalism we learn and absorb. Woven Faith provides avenues to incorporate our UU values more intentionally into the fabric of our congregational lives.
Curricula Delivered in Monthly Packs
Woven Faith will be developed and available through monthly theme packs which you can easily tailor for your congregation’s use. The themes allow congregations to share a focus across the lifespan and ministries of the congregation. It’s ready to be used out of the box for our small lay-led congregations, and also highly customizable for large congregations with staffing resources.
