Statement by the Unitarian Universalist Association on the anniversary of the January 6, 2021, insurrection at the United States Capitol

The UUA offers support and solidarity to the powerful organizing happening in Georgia, especially from faith communities and Black-led organizations. We encourage UU across the country to organize to defeat voter suppression in their own states.

I return to the Spiritual Leadership practice of doing my inner work. It may be the hardest practice of all. I want so many things to be different than they are — including myself. Yet the only path forward is to be right here in this real place, right now at this real time.
