What:

General Assembly (GA) is one of the most engaging and visible ways that the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) connects its communities together, so wisdom, learning, and care can flow across the faith. Unitarian Universalists (UUs) gather annually in June for GA to conduct business in a democratic process, learn, grow, and explore Unitarian Universalism’s theological underpinnings expressed our shared values. GA is the largest annual gathering of UUs worldwide.

In 2026, GA is a virtual “everywhere GA” with both online and distributed in-person options for UUs to gather together through community gatherings, satellite sites, and a studio site in Louisville, Kentucky. This flexible model makes GA more accessible, sustainable, and connected for UUs everywhere. The theme of this year’s GA is “Meet the Moment: Together Everywhere.”

UUA business will be conducted from Sunday, June 14th through Tuesday, June 16th. There will be some workshops, trainings, and worship services during this time as well, with additional programming on Friday, June 19th through Sunday, June 21st. There will be a midweek break in programming. For more information on the General Assembly public agenda, please visit our website at www.uua.org/ga.
