Welcome to In Good Faith: Stories from the Association

A new virtual hymnal—Sing Out Love—is out in the world. How many congregations has the UU Disaster Relief Fund helped in the last few years?

The Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) has joined a coalition of multifaith leaders to sue the current administration about their “sensitive locations policy.” How is the UUA working with congregations to educate UUs on the role of our Shared Values

Our Whole Lives is 25 years old. Wait, we’re celebrating a 200-year anniversary this year? How does that work?

As you can see with the list above, there is a lot going on at the UUA. Around the country, UUA staff members are working hard to support congregations to address their needs, provide spiritual and moral guidance to Unitarian Universalists (UU) and other people of good will, and grow Unitarian Universalism. And we want to make sure that you know about them and their work.

We needed a place that will help to prevent these stories from slipping through the cracks. And so we’ve created this blog – In Good Faith: Stories from the Association – to focus on providing news from the Association’s various staff groups, quick hits, and more about what is happening at the UUA.

What About UU World

To be clear, UU World, UUWorld.org, and the newsletter Wayfinder will remain the go-to place to read stories about Unitarian Universalists as a whole, from the Spring/Summer issue (more about that in the near future) that looks at everything from congregations finding ways to reconnect post-pandemic to the creation of BLUUHavens, social groups offering Black UUs the opportunity to connect, worship, and organize. UU World and In Good Faith are working cooperatively to highlight stories that focus on our Shared Values, especially those with Love at the Center.
