Benefits For Related Organizations
Related organizations do important work in providing identity groups for Unitarian Universalists (UUs), focusing on specific justice work, supporting people working within Unitarian Universalism and providing unique UU experiences. Related organizations are in formal relationship with the UUA in order to advance Unitarian Universalist values and claim a UU identity, but are not a congregation or covenanting community.
Ways the UUA Supports Related Organizations
UUA.org Website: All organizations will be encouraged to post information on UUA.org and link their own site to UUA.org. The UUA website will provide a website link, contact person and brief description for each related organization. If an organization needs to make changes, contact Data Services (dataservices [at] uua [dot] org).
UU World and UUWorld.org Advertising: Related organizations are eligible for discounted rates for advertising. For more information, contact the Periodicals Office (advertising [at] uua [dot] org).
Fundraising: Related organizations are eligible to participate in the UU Umbrella Giving program which enables UU organizations to receive gifts through a single donation to the Association, including life income gifts such as charitable gift annuities. You can find more information online or by contacting the UUA Legacy Gift Office at (888) 792-5885 (giftplans [at] uua [dot] org).
Benefits for Staff: Related Organizations are eligible to apply for UUA-administered benefits for their paid staff.
