Transitions Ministry Training
The Year-long Transitions Ministry Training (YLTMT) class provides an innovative learning model for transitional ministries of all types. Interim ministers, developmental ministers, ministers serving a contract with a transitions focus, and settled ministers facing a time of transition in their ministry are invited to register.
YLTMT Cohort 2024-25
Based on a Unitarian Universalist lens of the educational program of the Interim Ministry Network, YLTMT runs August through May, and includes an in-person week-long meeting in October.
In a design that incorporates theory and practice, learning and application, Unitarian Universalist values and commitments, the course builds collegial connections through small group exploration and provides a rich array of resources for your transitions ministry. Components of the YLTMT course include the work of the transitional leader, the focus points of the congregational process, our UU commitment to diversity, equity and belonging, and an in-depth experience of key sites in the struggle for racial justice. During the Spring, each participant creates a capstone presentation, integrating key elements of your learning as they have informed your ministry.
