Earlier this month, UU World published an article that was harmful to trans people. The article has generated many responses and much needed conversations in the UU community. Below is a list of all the responses to the article, from both the UU trans community as well as some cis UUs. We encourage all cis allies to read these statements, especially those written by trans individuals, and and incorporate their wisdom into your actions as we move forward.

• The Institute of Cultural Change published How Do We Respond to Systemic Oppression
• UU World’s editor Chris Walton posted an apology which also includes an apology from the articles author Kimberly French
• UUA President Susan Frederick-Gray posted an apology
