How to make Service posts/Speakers more accessible?

Hi, setting up my site in the UUA theme. I've put in an upcoming month of services and speakers, and I have some questions:
  1. The Service posts are not very accessible. From the homepage, the upcoming service which is highlighted in the yellow box is not clickable, so people cannot go read more about that sermon, unless you make the excerpt so long that it creates a "continued" link, but then it is so long the yellow box becomes longer than the 940x588px carousel images and the layout gets messed up. I would like for the title of the service to be a link. How to I accomplish this?
  2. If one clicks the "Upcoming Services" box, then they go to a page listing the services, but they still do not link to the full post unless their excerpt is so long as to have a "continued" link. However, the speaker *is* clickable (see below**). How can I make the individual services link through to their full text Service posts?
  3. If one gets to a single Service post, the speaker is not listed or defined on the post page, nor is the link there to click through to the speaker's information.
  4. **Lastly, when I click on a speaker from the list, I see a list of his/her past services, but the description of the speaker, which I have included in the Speaker settings, does not appear. We have many guest speakers at our church, and we always give a short bio of the speaker with the Service announcement. It would be great to not have to replicate this by including it in the sermon description. Is it possible to show the description?
Thank you!
