Suggested documentation improvement for UUA Services Plugin
By uuawebteam
It took me a while to figure out how to install and activate the UUA Services Plugin, and I was just about to enter a forum question about it, when I finally figured out how to get it going. The UUA Services Plugin documentation talks about what the plugin provides, but not how to install it. I tried going into the Plugins list, and it wasn't there. I had already installed some of the other recommended plugins by clicking on the individual links in the line that displays at the top of Dashboard entries: This theme recommends the following plugins: List Category Posts, Testimonials by WooThemes, UUA Services Plugin and WordPress SEO by Yoast. but the UUA Services Plugin item in this list wasn't a live link, so I scurried around trying to find it. Eventually, I clicked on: Begin installing plugins and, lo and behold! I could see it and install it. etc. This was the only way I could find to install it, and the lack of documentation delayed my discovery significantly. Could the UUA Services Plugin documentation be updated so others don't have to go down the same path? Thanks!

Thanks, Bryan, for pointing this out. I will address this on our documentation site as soon as I can. Gratitude!

A related documentation issue:  http://uuatheme.org/page-by-page-guidance/homepage/  says in part

Home 2: If it isn’t already selected, select theServices in the UUA Theme Widget.

There is no widget by that exact name. I believe what is actually meant is the "Featured Upcoming Services Widget."
I spent some time looking for what I imagined to be a missing widget. I finally tried the "Featured…" widget. It includes three text-entry boxes for the three links featured in the widget. To get it to display much as it does on the demo page, I cut, pasted and tweaked URLs from the demo.
